Great Ornamental Piece 0 people found this helpfulTo get the basics out of the way, the order was processed quickly and the delivery was prompt so extremely happy with that. As for the dirk itself it certainly looks the part and is a hefty piece of kit. The knife and fork are very crude and can be no more than ornamental. As for the quality, it is overall very sturdy but there are some blemishes on the leather where the glue has oozed out from the metal attachments and not been completely cleaned away. In the same vain the metal on the end of the scabbard came off whilst I was unpacking it. It was easily reattached with some decent glue and I gave the whole thing a clean and protective coating and it looks really good. Although I am yet to try the dirk on with my kilt, overall I happy with the purchase. I would certainly recommend Southern Swords and will look to them again for similar purchases.
