Well worth the 30 year wait. To say I am not disappointed is a huge understatement. I am ecstatic. 2 people found this helpfulI have dreamed of owning the Kurgan sword ever since I was a teenager 30 years ago. I found the Southern Swords site, did some research, sent them a couple of emails and also called to ask some final questions before ordering because I was nervous. Southern Swords always replied quickly (even after business hours) and were helpful and friendly. I ordered the sword on a Thursday morning, it shipped the same day, and it was delivered to me across the pond to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada 5 days later on a Tuesday morning, which is unbelievably fast considering that includes customs processing. It was well packaged and when I opened it I was blown away by the quality. This thing is massive, heavy, beautiful, and the spikes even retract (It would be perfect if there was a button that activated the spikes). I am giddy with glee that I actually finally own this thing. I will definitely be ordering others from Southern Swords and I can't wait.

Let me say, oh the weight of this piece is hard to describe and only giants “like our friend Clancy” could dare to wield a sword of this size. At Last 0 people found this helpfulI have both the Conner and Duncan McLeod Marto Swords in my collection for many years and now at last I have the Kurgan's sword. The sword is very well constructed, nice to see the crossguard is one solid piece not two bits bolted together. I will have to make a mounting plaque for it as it came with none. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to seeing and enjoying it for years to come..........

He total loves it, (massive grin and little squeal gave this away).looks the part and very heavy, the only think he was a bit disappointed on there was no button for the two small blades, but that does not take anything away from this sword, beautiful made and great detail. Fast delivery and good communication though email.

Worth the long wait. 0 people found this helpfulThe Kurgan sword is a well made and is worth the money for any Highlander film fan to collect. Been waiting for 30 years to get my hands on this sword and it was well worth the wait. Postage was very quick . Got it next day delivery and was packed very well. I would buy from southernswords again with no hesitation. Buy with confidence.
