One of the best I have used 0 people found this helpfulGreat service from Southern Swords even during the current lock down & they had stock when Cold Steel UK didn't! A bit pricy for one. but great discount for 3, makes a set of 3 the best option. Was surprised to find they had sharp cutting edges (I didn't read the full description!), but a bench grinder and emery cloth soon sorted that. Great construction & will last a lifetime of throwing.

Reasonaby priced balanced thrower 1 people found this helpfulPro: Nothing but praise for Southern Swords. Ordered and delivered within days. Offer of discount prices on multiple purchases very attractive (and economical) as many (aspiring) competitive throwers are likely to require 3 blades. Con: (Not in any way a criticism of the seller) I understand that Cold Steel also market the blade as an utility/camping camp knife and therefore sell with a cutting edge. I suspect, however, that many (most?) purchasers will need to grind the edges down for safety/blade throws. It may also be worthwhile slightly chamfering/smoothing the handle edges - depending on grip, a long practice session can be rough on the fingers. All in all a good balanced heavy thrower, and, I understand that Cold Steel are maximising their sales potential by retaining the working edge, but addressing the above would save some initial (although admittedly minimal) 'modding' considering the primary advertised (and endorsed) purpose as a target sports thrower.
