Great value 0 people found this helpfulFirst class service from Southern Swords. The sword itself is great value for money. Only one niggle - the peen on the pommel had some flash, easily sorted with a file but shouldn't be there. I know SS import this sword so not their fault.

value for money 0 people found this helpfulif you where a Viking all those moons ago you would be happy with this sword and it's performance ' well made despite stories of hastily finished tang peening issues resulting in a coarse pommel end I think that the functional no nonsense approach to placing a rock solid ready to rock n roll anytime weapon in your hands is what matters here ' fast recovery ensures that multiple rapid strikes are possible and very fast chop slash thrust combinations are a doddle compared to the human effort required to direct blows from some of the huge steel girders on the market ' leather scabbard does it's job and the belt loops whilst not appealing to the die hard authentic clobber crew are practical and made to last ' l like my Maldon Sword and hope you will enjoy yours

Outstanding cutting, a little rough in refinery 0 people found this helpfulIt cuts beautifully. A little heavy and the loops are cumbersome, get swinging and it's comfortable. Cuts thick branches easily and bottles are cut with ease
