Main Guache 0 people found this helpfulBought this dagger just to complement my collection but I am most impressed by its quality The blade is semi- sharp with a vicious point, Not one for the kids or sparring unless you are very careful. The quillons are smaller than in the photos but on the whole I am well pleased

Broad selection, timely arrival, beautiful dagger 2 people found this helpfulOne of my close friends wanted a main gauche/parrying dagger for his birthday, I didn’t know what it was but quickly found a beautiful replica of a 17th century main gauche. I ordered it and then called to ask how long it would take to get here. I spoke to a lovely woman who took me through the age verification process quickly and, accounting for the weekend and bank holiday, I only had to wait a day. My friend was so happy and he said that it was very well balanced and even to my untrained hand it felt very nice to hold. Very aesthetically pleasing too with the silver corded hilt. Overall I am a very happy customer and will definitely be a recurring one as I now want all the swords.

Lovely Piece of Kit. 1 people found this helpfulI really like this dagger but I'd like it more if the handle was a little longer and wider/fatter but this is just personal preference. The wire wrapping is amazingly done and is more detailed then I'd expected so a nice surprise. The blade is as expected and looks as it does in the photograph - sleek. All in all a great piece of kit.

Great value for the money. 1 people found this helpfulLovely feel and weight to it. The photos don't do it justice. I am more than pleased with the 17th C Main Gauche, and would recommend it to anyone. Wire wrapping is very secure and uniform, quillions and pommel are clean castings and well attached. The balde is uniform and semi sharpened. As for the temper of the blade only time will tell. If you are in two minds, buy it.
