Well made 4 people found this helpfulThis buckler is tough and has a utilitarian beauty due to its blackened finish. The picture does not do it justice. Once degreased and oiled it looks like the perfect buckler to go with a Windlass Battlecry sword. In fact this is why I purchased it. If you do not want a factory fresh look and want something that looks handmade 500 years ago, this is for you. The Southern Swords service was outstanding. It could only have arrived quicker if they hired a helicopter to get it here. Really, I was that surprised how fast it got here.
