Very nice sword for the money and makes an eye catching display Piece. My Sword has movement in the hilt and I wouldn’t trust it with heavy cutting ,, it doesn’t say weather it’s a full tang blade in the description and I suspect it isn’t ??? BUT I’ve no intention of taking it apart to find out,, the wrapping on the grip is aesthetically pleasing but not practical for heavy use. If you plan to use this for cutting or heavy use ?? do some research but still this is a beautiful piece and well worth the money. Delivered within 24 hours of purchase as always.

Sword is perfect as a replica to the original. everything is tight. Heavy, but tells you what it took to cut through chain mail and armor. Would recommend if you are a collector of Scottish swords....

My first sword and love it. No scabbard and heavy but then I love it for the weight and the heft of it.
All parts secured very well, feels very sturdy.
Only issue I had is with the studs across the haft. They can be pried loose if you are rough and I have lost one while swinging it about. You could secure them with superglue or replace if lost. They are a form of drive rivet but I am not sure what size.
Packaging was secure and shipped very fast.

This sword looks beautiful and impressive. The grip however was very loose on mine. It rattled very significantly. I had a local blacksmith put on another grip purely leather which looks much better. The original grip was a very bad design with just a hollowed out piece of wood of the wrong size covered by cheap leather.
The sword itself would probably not have been a great choice for battle due to its heavy weight and balancing. The tang is also very small considering how huge the blade is.
