An Early Imperial Japanese NCO Katana Sword

This sword is from my private collection which has been in my possession for many years and is the best condition NCO sword I have seen for many years
Originally from a WW2 Naval veteran's estate in Massachusetts, this sword has simply spent most of it life sat in a private collection.
The sword has an absolutely beautiful looking blade showing just very light staining in places and superficial surface scratches, nothing serious at all. The original paint on both scabbard and handle have survived time very well, as you can see in the photographs.
The numbers on both scabbard and blade are of course matching.
A great investment piece as these continue to climb in value year on year.
