The Muscle Cuirass was a common style of armour worn from 700 BC to 500 AD by Greek and Roman officers. This ribbed cuirass is designed to intimidate enemies by implying a muscular physique.
Our Cuirass is hand-shaped from a single, large piece of mild steel, carefully pounded into the shape of a nicely muscled male torso making this an ideal piece for stage and costume. The highly detailed chest, peck and belly button gives this piece a realistic look similar to armour that might be worn by the Trojans and Spartans. It comes with a black front plate that has decorative leather skirt adorned with brass medallions and a protective back plate. Strong adjustable leather straps hold the armour in place.
