One Handed Stage Ready Sword

Stage ready swords have to meet different requirements than battle-ready swords do. In order to minimize the risk of injury from cuts and thrusts during stage combat with swords, this one handed stage combat sword has back edges that are at least 3.5 mm thick everywhere and it even has a rounded point.

The thick blade of our one handed stage ready sword makes it somewhat more top-heavy than a comparable battle-ready sword would be. The grip is ridged in three places and is wrapped in genuine leather for increased control and comfort. Our one handed stage ready sword has a riveted wheel pommel typical of swords that were made between the 10th and 15th centuries, but the curved crossguard places it firmly in the 14th/15th century.
