This is a genuine WWII Japanese Shin Gunto leather covered timber scabbard.
It is in excellent condition for it age with it poppers working and an undamaged wooden scabbard.
Measures 23 inches long with a opening of 1.1/4 x 1/2 of an inch.
The leather has no tears or cuts, just has little age wear - which is to be expected.
An excellent example.
