Scottish Two Handed Sword

When Scottish two handed swords like this one first appeared on the battlefield in the 14th century, it was able to make a dent in almost all the armor in the area. The lower third of this smooth blade features a 2 cm wide fuller. The blade has a gentle taper, and is approx. 5 cm wide for most of its approx. 122 cm length. Hook-shaped, curved ends add grace to the 36 cm wide crossguard decorated with 20 vertical notches. The long wooden grip of our Scottish Two Handed Sword is wrapped with durable, tightly spun cotton yarn so you can always grip it securely – even in wet or dirty battlefield conditions.
