Black Prince Great Helm

The Great Helm was developed through the course of the 13th. century. This reconstruction replicates the Royal helm of the Black Prince and has the crown detail to one side. This style of helm was often worn in conjunction with a smaller, lighter helmet, the Secret (see our Secret Helm AB0371). Crafted in 14 gauge steel and fully padded, this helm provides excellent head protection for the weapons-contact re-enactor.
