Brand: Windlass Steelcrafts

The outstanding balance of our Late Gothic one handed sword makes it highly manageable and a very good example of the developments in the art of forging edged weapons that took place as of the 14th century. It features a ricasso with a length of approx. 10 cm, two rather short fullers that flank a longer, central fuller, and a pommel shape that all foreshadow the shape of swords to come in the Renaissance period. The crossguard with langet is straight, just like the other decorative details of this honest sword. The grip is wrapped in black leather and decorated with small silver studs. The riveted, scent stopper pommel makes it easy to get a firm grip on this one handed sword. Our Late Gothic one handed sword includes a scabbard made of leather with a metal throat and chape.
